'Dreamland' is a compact, mounding hardy geranium bred for near-continuous bloom, covering itself in soft pink, dark-veined flowers from late spring straight through fall with only light maintenance. Its low, tidy habit suits front-of-border edging and container plantings where a taller cranesbill would flop.
It performs best with consistent moisture and a light midseason shear if flowering starts to slow — cutting the whole plant back by a third refreshes both foliage and bloom within a couple of weeks. Like most hardy geraniums it's rarely bothered by deer or rabbits and needs no staking.
Fungal leaf spot
Brown or purplish spots on the leaves, often ringed with a yellow halo, that spread and merge in warm, humid, or wet weather; heavily spotted leaves yellow and drop early.
Pick off spotted leaves and clear fallen debris to remove overwintering spores. Improve air circulation by thinning, and water at the base so foliage dries quickly. If it persists, apply a copper- or sulfur-based fungicide at the first sign.
