Background
Sunburst is a compact, tidy selection of the native golden St. John's wort, with blue-green leaves and large golden-yellow flowers that show their stamens from early to midsummer. Leaves hold late in mild climates and it carries red-brown seed capsules.
It wants the same dry, well-drained spot as the species and little else. Prune lightly right after bloom if you need to shape it.
